A French brass cased striking carriage antique clock. An enamel dial with blued steel hands. Stepped case mouldings. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. The original lever escapement. The enamel dial is marked by retailers 'Elkington & Co Ltd'. Circa 1900.
