A beautiful Art Nouveau bronze bust with brown, green and golden brown patina. Condition is excellent. Height is 52 cms. or 21 inches.
La Sibylle was a member of the sect of mythical soothsayers - one of whom (in Shakespeare's play) forewarned Julius Ceasar of the Ides of March.
Société Des Bronzes Des Paris stamp at rear and numbered B, 5586.
