Description: Antique Empire chest of drawers in mahogany with a gray Bardiglio marble top, dating back to the early 19th century.

The front features three large drawers and a smaller one under the top, highlighted by a large gilded bronze fitting depicting swans.

The three drawers are accented by golden eagle-shaped handles and a skillfully chiseled central escutcheon.

At the sides are two plumed columns with finely chiseled gilded bronze Corinthian bases and capitals.

General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional shellac and alcohol method, handmade.

Origin: France, early 19th century.

Dimensions: 128 x 63 x 100 cm.
