English Infantry Mans Hanger.
A rare 1770 pattern English Infantry mans hanger. This pattern of weapon was used extensively in the American civil war of Independence. The blade is slighted pitted and stained overall it is missing its small Quilon and it would have had in its time a brass wire wrapped hilt.The blade shows the running fox. A copy of the running wolf copied from the German. The sword was probably made by Samuel Harvey of Birmingham. You must be over 18 years old to buy this weapon. Post cost will be twelve pounds.
