In Outstanding condition for its age. A small Late medieval English oak and Iron-bound Casket, two carrying handles at either end, double hasp plated front one "false" the other locks with a secret locking style system, opening to reveal an internal 3 division partition
possibly used for valuables or maybe transporting spices on various voyages which at that time were expensive commodities.
Late 15th / Early 16th Century.
