English Oak 2 Seat Occasional Sofa With Bumble Bee
Great decorative 1930's English oak 2 seater occasional sofa with lovely golden oak show wood frame.
Good carving to the shaped arms and the legs to the front are finished a Georgian style shepherds foot.
This seat can easily accommodate two adults securely, if you are to use it regularly for additional seating, but it's also a really great decor piece too, so would work as a window seat, hall chair or also an end of bed settee.
The internal frame has been fully refurbished, so it is very solid and also it has been fully re upholstered, finished with this fun bumble bee print and buttoned to the seat back.
Measuring:
33” or 84cm high
48” or 122cm wide
23” or 58.5cm deep
Seat height 18 1/2” or 47cm Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
