English Regency Parquetry Inlaid Kingwood Teapoy

This is a stunning early 19th century Regency period teapoy
with parquetry inlaid, boxwood and ebony strung canted corner top, retaining original interior, supported on solid kingwood turned column and triangular concave platform base, ending on original brass paw feet and castors. The interior has two tea caddies and spaces for two glass mixing bowls (missing) and a lidded compartment for a spoon.
This teapoy is very attractive with its various hues of exotic woods in its parquetry top, and exudes quality throughout.
It is a very sculptural and eye catching object in its own right but it could also be used as a drinks or lamp table.

28 3/4 x 15 x 13 1/4 inches
