A very handsome large desk-top rocking blotter made from sterling silver with a very elegant linear engine turned decoration. As with all blotters, the handle unscrews as does the top block of wood to enable the blotting paper to be refreshed.

There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1919 together with the makers initials for the well renowned silversmith, Deakin & Francis. Excellent condition, measuring 5 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 3" tall to top of handle.
