A fabulous Victorian Jewellery box dating to the late 19th century, around 1890 / 1900 with a gentle domed top with flush polished brass carrying handle.

Made from warm and highly decorative Walnut the box is in superb condition. The lid opens to reveal a fitted antique jewellery tray having been professionally re-lined with a full width ring holder, which would accommodate around six rings. The interior of the lid is beautifully tufted in the original silk.

The doors are fitted with thick bevelled glass with two drawers behind lined with the original red silk A real gem, in excellent condition having had all brass fittings professionally re-polished to gleam and complete with working key. The footprint measures 9" x 6 1/4" and stands 7 1/2" tall.
