Absolutely exceptional Black Forest style settle / bench, profusely carved with fabulous winged griffins, lions masks, the back with motto " Gruss Gott Tritt Ein Bring Gluck Herein " which translates to " welcome, step inside and bring good luck with you " and date plaque of 1895, the lidded seat with storage below and raised on paw feet.
With normal marks / scuffs etc, overall this outstanding settle is in good sound condition and really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
