Exceptional Pair of 18thC Welsh Chippendale Chairs
A truly exceptional pair of late 18th century Welsh elm country Chippendale side chairs of rare and breathtaking design. Beautifully constructed from the highest quality figured timber with outstanding grain, colour and patina throughout.
In unbelievable condition, original throughout and without fault. Of standard dining chair dimensions with generous seat height they are very comfortable even for long periods. They one of the most beautiful pairs of early country chairs that we have ever seen.

Welsh Vernacular is an independent family business run by husband and wife Jonathon and Yvonne Holder. We are the largest and one of the longest established Welsh Antiques businesses in the UK, holding an extensive collection of Country Furniture, Welsh Antiques, Pottery, Treen and Folk Art.
