A really large handsome “Imari” charger dating from the Victorian era, it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has been hung on the wall with a typical 19th century wire fitting which has left absolutely no damage, probably because it has been hung this way since new.

The kiln marks where it was fired are still visible on the underside.

This a really wonderful oriental Japanese Charger with beautiful patterns and colours.
