Extremely Rare One-Piece Drop-Dial Clock & Barometer

An incredibly rare bow dial fusee wawll clock incorporating a full size mercurial barometer to the lower portion.
The eight day duration, gut fusee movement with Anchor Recoil escapement, shouldered plates and knopped pillars.
Behind a 12 inch diameter, bowed painted iron dial with black Roman numerals, minute ring with triangular hour markings and a further outer circle. Also, matching ornate blued steel 'spade' hands and a cast brass hinged bezel with bow glass.
Contained in a well French-polished flame mahogany case of good colour. Having an Ogee moulded dial surround, two large side access doors, moulding to the trunk below the dial surround and the trunk having a cavetto shape to the lower throat which then transforms into the lower portion of a Georgian mercurial 'Banjo' wheel barometer! The eight inch diameter engraved and silvered barometer dial has a scale in inches and the centre has a scene of farmland and buildings including a windmill. The brass setting hand which is set by a bone knob above the dial is below the steel indicating hand and the cast brass bezel has a bow glass. The barometer bottom terminates with a round lower base. The rear of the case has a full length access door to the standard size mercurial tube and barometer movement.
This item is exceptionally rare, I have only ever seen one other in thirty years and that was incomplete. It is absolutely genuine and looks simply awesome. It is worthy of any collection and is practically irreplaceable.
