A Truly stunning and possibly unique chestnut farm house table
The top of the table is a single plank of chestnut , I have never seen a table of this size before with just a single plank
The table has come direct from a manor house in the region of Finistère , Brittany , France I was told that the tree for this table was cutdown in 1879 , and that the table was made in 1888 so the timber was very well seasoned , this table has been in the same home for the last 140 years
Stunning grain , great colour , large overhang either end , this table will seat 16 plus people , if you have a large kitchen , what a statement piece ...
