Fine quality padouk mid 19thc Anglo Indian tilt to
A mid 19thc padouck Anglo Indian tilt top centre table of fine quality of good patina.
This piece consists of a well figured solid padouk tilt top with a carved edge leading down to a profusely carved frieze with foliage design.
The top is supported by a large, well carved solid padouk base with a turned & carved central column with acanthus and foliage design surrounded by four carved scroll supports.
These lead down to a carved platform base supported by four large lion paw and anthemion carved feet.
This piece is of fine quality and could be used as a centre table and would work equally well in either a period or contemporary property.
The table is of sound construction and can go straight into a property.
