This is a fine Regency mahogany Apprentice / miniature chest of three drawers with turned wooden handles in good original condition. It possesses a shaped apron and tapered bracket feet.

The sides are stained softwood whereas the carcass is a natural colour softwood. The mahogany veneers are thick and together with the style indicate an early 19th Century date. The drawers have neat dovetail joints. The back is a single piece of softwood which is nailed to the sides and top.

Dimensions: 22cm width x 14.5cm depth (inc handles) x 24.7cm height.

Condition: The piece is in good antique condition. The only issues are a small chip in the veneer on the top left corner and the shrinkage crack in the back panel.
