Fine Regency rosewood circular dinning table

This is a cut above any circular flip up dining table you will see on the internet. It is incredibly opulent and elegant and in its original Regency condition. The rosewood is beautiful.
The table is a flip up circular dining or breakfast table. It is Regency, dating to around 1820 and like all Georgian antique furniture it is a very simple design. There is a lot of elegance in this simplicity and the design will allow it to sit in a period or more modern eclectic setting.
The table will seat six.
The table is beautiful. It is made in rosewood. Rosewood was only used by Georgian furniture makers for their most opulent and luxurious pieces. The rosewood top and base is stunning. The rosewood on this table is particularly fine with burrs and banding in the grain.
The table has a circular top with deep frieze and a knopped gadroon edge.. The table is supported on a large central column. The column is stunning, turned and carved with acanthus leaves. The column terminates in a broad rosewood triform base with scrolls to the three feet. It stands on small hidden casters.
I love quality period antique tables like this. The table can be put in its upright position and moved against a wall when not in use so will not overpower your space. It is a wonderful opulent table for intimate dinners.
Condition is good. I don't think you will see a more elegant table of this type.
The table is 48.5 inches in diameter and stands 29.5 inches high.
