Fine Victorian Burr Walnut Dressing Table
A fine Victorian burr walnut dressing table having a beautiful shaped tilting mirror to the top section supported by two carved walnut arms above six elegant burr walnut drawers with original brass handles. It boasts a shaped walnut compartment with a lift up lid. The base has a magnificent burr walnut shaped top with a double moulded edge, a pretty burr walnut shaped frieze with a drawer to the centre. It stands on two attractively shaped carved cabriole legs to the front and two solid walnut back legs which are united by a shaped under tier base with a moulded edge and raised on four small bun feet.
This delightful piece has so many fine features and is in outstanding original condition. The colour and patination are exemplary.
