A Fine Late Victorian oil on canvas of a highland cattle scene by a Scottish loch. Signed Henry Robinson Hall (1859-1927) to the lower left. Sat in the original gilt swept frame. Good original condition with glass cover to the front. Measures 40" x 30" framed.
Henry Robinson Hall exhibited at the Royal Academy 1895-1903. Noted for his highland cattle paintings. Born in York, he later resided in Coniston,Cumbria where he had an artist's shop and studio.
