Finely carved hardwood bust of a young male in traditional tunic and headdress with Keris Kris dagger strapped to his back. It is carved from one piece of hardwood the attractive figuring would suggest rosewood. The work has been beautifully executed by a master carver based probably in Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. I think you would be hard pressed to find another example of such quality. It dates from the Mid 20th Century.
