Small Victorian Flame Mahogany Chest of Drawers, Batchelor’s Chest

This very attractive small chest has four drawers, it has a leatherette top and stands on a neat plinth
The chest is made in well figured mahogany, the top drawer seems to be a stationary or necessaire compartment as it is divided into sections

The drawers run very smoothly they have turned knobs, the mahogany top has an very attractive moulded edge
The chest of good solid construction it has no creaks, splits or woodworm and the drawers run well, it is in good condition with few age related marks
The chest measures 28” high 28” wide and 21” deep
