This is a great example of a fantastic quality antique flame Mahogany William IV two door linen press hanging cupboard, circa 1830 - 1840.

This is a fantastic quality antique mahogany William IV two door linen press hanging cupboard, circa 1830 - 1840. The linen press features two exquisite shaped moulded flame mahogany locking door panels which sit below a beautiful protruding cornice. The top has the original working lock and key the doors also feature its original working key locks. The four mahogany lined drawers in the base are all hand dovetailed. The base also features the original drawer knobs and ebony key escutcheons. The linen press features its original mahogany detachable sliding linen trays. The linen press also features the original plinth, and back.
This item is an excellent investment but also very practical for storage and would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom, dining room, hall way or the living room. This item base would certainly grace any home. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
Condition Report
Both doors close and lock comfortably. All mahogany lined drawers open freely. The upper section has its original mahogany lined linen slides. The working key only operates the doors. The back, plinth, cornice, knobs and ebony escutcheons are all original which is very rare to see. Free of worm-worm, solid in joint and ready to use. Please remember that this item is over 200 years old so there will always be some minor wear.
