Framed Ernest Dade Coastal Watercolour Painting
Artist - Ernest Dade (1868-1935), an English painter, specialising in coastal and maritime subjects
Title - Untitled
Details - Watercolour painting on card, pasted into the mount. Signed on one bottom corner. The painting features a coastal scene with waves crashing against the beach. Framed in a vintage wooden frame with a wooden backboard. There is a hand-written piece of paper attached to the backboard which gives some details about the painter.
Condition - Overall in fair-good condition. The painting has a few spots of (brown) foxing and is overall slightly grubby. The mount has some wear and discolouration and some damage to the back. The wooden frame is worn and grubby with some scuffing and minor losses. The back board is worn.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
