French Art Deco Clock and Dogs
Superb French Art Deco style mantle antique clock garniture set in green and black marble mounted with spelter figures of a girl and two dogs. 8 day pendulum driven movement by the well known French clockmakers Japy Freres, striking the hours and half hours on a bell. In good working condition.
The stylish rectangular clock face measures 16cm x 11xm and is inscribed 'Chambeau' and 'Ales'. The clock itself measures 26cm x 39xm and dogs are 16cm x 26cm.
In good condition, clean marble with no breaks or cracks. The hinge to the cover on the clock face is broken and the glass is a replacement, some minor corrosion to the face otherwise a very stylish and unusual set.
