French Boulle Tortoiseshell Mantel Clock
A good quality French boulle tortoiseshell mantel antique clock. Well cast ormolu case mounts and inlaid brass to the front of the case. A gilt dial with decoration to the centre and individual enamel cartouches. Blue Roman numerals to the each cartouche. A viewing aperture with a sunburst pendulum on show. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell stamped 'O R 86275', which matches the number on the pendulum. Circa 1880.
