French Burr Walnut Console Table With Marble
Very good quality French mid c19th burr walnut and marble top console table, finished with original brass mounts.
Unusual to find in the burr walnut, typically you will find more in mahogany, perhaps rosewood and walnut. The colour tone to the burr walnut is lovely, in its original warm tone and has cleaned and waxed beautifully.
The console table has a full width "frieze" drawer for storage and the base surface for display.
I have a number of mirrors that would hang above this console, do take a look at those too!
Great condition and a good decorative piece.
Measuring:
92cm or 36'' high,
114cm or 45'' wide,
51cm or 20'' deep, Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
