A stunning French flame grain mahogany seminaire chest of drawers. There are seven graduated dovetailed drawers with lovely quality veneer. Each drawer has a large back plate brass handles which are not original but suit this item superbly.
The top and sides scumbled to resemble burr wood.
There are two carved mahogany corbels to each of the angled sides. It stands on two turned bun feet at the front with two block feet to the back. The beauty of this item for people tight on space is that it's tall rather than wide. Seminiares were designed so you had a drawer for your clothes for the week. This is a great looking piece.
