French lacquered bedside table signed "Dubois1683"
Description: French Louis XV chest of drawers in green lacquered wood with inserts of polychrome paintings.
The front has two drawers bearing a central medallion with a gallant scene in the centre.
The sides have a convex shape with a pronounced recess and feature a design depicting a basket with flowers.
The two feet have a curvilinear shape and end with expertly chiseled bronze socks.
The two drawers can be removed using gilded copper handles bearing the date 1693.

Provenance: France, late 17th century.
Measurements: 75x43 H87cm.
