French Louis XVI Double Bed, Shabby and Chic
This is a charming romantic bed, it has a high headboard, which is upholstered in velvet, the velvet has a stripe and flower pattern with the back ground colour in aquamarine
The show wood is original shabby white and blue paint with a little genuine wear it has not been repainted
The bed is good original condition, the upholstery is clean if a little faded, it dismantles for transport (head board, foot board, two sides) and is easily reassembled.
The head of the bed is 48” high and 59” wide, the drop in size of the bed for a divan base and the mattress is 56” x 76” or we can supply a Purpose made slatted base if required
