Here is a rare and stunning quality French Louis XVI revival carved walnut couch, which have been freshly upholstered, circa 1880, from the 3rd Empire period. The couch is constructed of solid walnut and features a very pretty carved cartouches and a floral frame and terminates in cabriole legs all round. The couch has been freshly upholstered in top quality embroidered floral silk upholstery. The armchairs features scroll arms shield back, shaped sides and a serpentine front. The back rail features a floral carving to the centre of the pediment flanked by floral carved trail either side. The base of the couch is firmly sprung so that you do not sink into the seats but at the same time is extremely comfortable.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom, living room, and dining room to the conservatory. This item would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
