French Mahogany . 19th Century.
Description: Antique mahogany secretary with glass-covered plaques depicting neoclassical scenes.
The front features a hinged door with a glass-covered plaque depicting a neoclassical scene in the center.
The under-counter band includes a drawer that can be pulled out with lion-shaped handles.
The lower section features two doors accented by glass-covered plaques depicting mythological figures.
The two corners are highlighted by bronze elements depicting caryatids.
General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional shellac and alcohol method.
Origin: France, early 19th century.
Dimensions: 105 x 48 x 153 cm
