French Marble Top Bedside Drawers
An elegant c1910 French walnut bedside chest of drawers. With its traditional marble top, this item features numerous small drawers with centre section that drops down to reveal a marble lined interior. This chest is decorated with reeded columns to either side, and stands upon small turned wooden feet. This piece is made of light walnut which is traditional timber used for making French antique furniture. The item is in lovely condition, but does show signs of old woodworm which we have treated. As you can see, the drop down compartment (inner door side) there is a small amount of veneer missing, however, this is not noticeable when the door is shut.
