French Marquetry Bombe Chest Of Drawers
Very unusual French ebonised & marble top "bombe" chest (a11839)
This is a very good quality and rare mid C19th French inlaid & marquetry marble top "bombe" chest, brass ormolu and ebonised with gilt banding to the legs.
The main body of the chest is burr walnut marquetry, the sides being "bombe" which is the shape you can see from the first image, beautifully made and very decorative. Fine gilt banding really does make this an elegant piece
The original marble top is in good condition and shaped to match the chest itself.
31`` high x 39`` wide x 17`` deep
