A good quality and pretty French occasional table. Well made in ebonised mahogany and inset with an array of other woods including satinwood, walnut and amboyna. It is profusely decorated with a range of marquetry designs including a central musical motif. Further decoration is afforded by the gilded brass ormolu mounts throughout. The four hinged flaps lift up and are supported by swing out loppers underneath. The legs are united by an x-shaped under-stretcher ensuring the table is sturdy and wobble free. This stunning table is offered for sale in excellent original condition, ready to go straight into the home.
