A French brass cased mantel antique clock of slim proportions. An architectural pediment with decorative swag. Dentil cornice mouldings below the arch and sides. Fluted side columns and a stepped plinth. A convex enamel dial with floral chasing and blued steel hands. An 8-dau duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Signed mark for Richard & Co. of Paris. Circa 1895.
