Purchased privately recently out of 'Batchlors Bedroom No.3' from a 110 room Scottish Stately Home this quality French Serpentine 3-draw chest in Mahogany has been constructed using good thick cuts of the best Mahogany and hand carved with Rococo scrolls on splayed legs with projected carved corners all to a high Standard as you would expect from a stately home piece.
Dating to the mid Victorian period 1840-1860 this genuine French antique retains its original heavy cast decorative brass knobs and is in good clean solid condition...it might require a small restoration to the left hand corner which a small part of the top is missing (see photos) this can easily be remedied and fixed by our experienced restorer for under £100 if the purchaser wishes before collection/delivery.

A large piece that would work well in a hallway or lounge room aswell as a bedroom.
