This is a stunning French Mahogany Shop Display Cabinet. The cabinet is pure quality throughout being manufactured by the renowned Siegel of Paris and dating from around 1870. The cabinet is a rich deep flamed mahogany with ebony inlay in the mahogany decoration to the front and in the oak parquetry inner base with a brass frame. The inside of the 4 back sliding doors is quartered flamed mahogany. With brass inset finger pulls. To the rear is 2 open storage compartments flanked to the right with a sectioned drawer and a solid mahogany pull out slide shelf. The lower corners are embellished with a brass embellishment stamped inside “Siegel” just proving the quality. There is brass decoration around the legs and beautiful mahogany carving decoration running around the sides and front. The interesting note about this cabinet is that to the left side the carving is unfinished and was manufactured like that it is all original and super to see (A Friday night Job). The top part of the cabinet the brass framed part does come off the Mahogany base. This is true quality, and we are proud to be offering it for sale, such quality really is getting so had to find.

Condition: The cabinet does show very minimal signs of previous ownership and use a lot less than one would expect. The cabinet has been through the workshop and had an overall polish and a new laminated glass top making the cabinet already to be used and loved for many more years to come.
