French Stencil Painted Commode
Very decorative French Empire style three drawer commode chest of drawers with fluted columns and original brass mounts.
Beautifully painted in this stencilled pattern with the leaf motif in a light blue almost teal and its contrasting off white and with an aged finish.
Three full width drawers offering great storage but also with great style as a focal point in a living room or bedroom.
The fluted columns have their original draped garlands to the top and ring pull handles to the drawers. All in good original condition, drawers running smoothly and with later paint.
Measuring:
Height 31" or 79cm
Width 49" or 124.5cm
Depth 22.5" or 57cm Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
