French Tulipwood And Marquetry Bureau Plat

Really good quality and well proportioned French tulipwood, marquetry and brass mounted bureau plat or console table, circa 1900 and in great condition.
The size of this piece means it will lend itself well to a number of uses from a sofa table, display table, lamp table, writing table, dressing table and console table.
There is one full width drawer to give you useful storage.
The table can free stand as it is finished on all sides with the marquetry and the brass work, so would work well as a sofa table if that's what you are looking for.
The condition is very good throughout, fully cleaned and has been beeswax polished to bring up the finish. All original brass work is there and no missing marquetry either.
Very decorative piece of classic French antique furniture.
Measuring:
29” or 74cm high
39 1/4” or 100cm wide
25 1/2” or 65cm deep
23 1/2” or 60cm kneehole area Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
