Lovely quality and great size French louis xv style bureau plat or writing table / desk, circa 1900 and in good condition
This is an elegant piece with the cabriole legs and simple lines, but certainly a very useable everyday desk, good storage in the three drawers and a newly replaced green leather top with gilded edging, matching in with the original ormolu mounts.
The desk is finished on all sides, so it can free stand in the centre of your room
The desk has the additional bonus of the slides to give you more surface area when required
