Unusual early 20th.c. French walnut ‘Wellington’ type chest of 12 drawers of superiour quality c.1910. Just 30” wide with twelve oak lined drawers ideal for filing, stationery etc. The drawers are held closed with two (rather than the more commonly found single) hinged and locking side pilasters. Carved detail to the cornice, reeded pilasters, moulded drawer fronts with original handles, panelled sides and a moulded plinth on turned bun feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
