Fulham Pottery Mantle Planter by Constance Spry

A good early example of Constance Spry's mantle vase design, made at Fulham Pottery in the 1930's. Unglazed in a biscuit colour to the outside and glazed to the centre. It does have a fine hairline to the inside of one handle ( see photo ), There are also a few fine hairlines and crazing lines (particularly to the centre) but no breakages other than a tiny scrape to the edge of one handle. General age related marks and scuffs to the body. Would benefit from a good clean. Please see close ups. Fully marked to the base with FMC2 incised.
