A quality English dropdial fusee wall antique clock of smaller proportions. A fine mahogany case with choice flame veneers and a cast brass bezel to the dial surround. A smaller 10" painted dial with tapered blued steel hands. An 8-day duration fusee mechanism with tapered pillars.

There are a few makers under the name of Marie listed in Baillies' 'Clockmakers and Watchmakers of The World' book. This example dates to circa 1840 - 1850.
