Oak Games Table - Envelope Style - circa 1910
This table is an oak example of an envelope fold top Card & Games Table crafted c1910.
Presented in very good order this table offers great scope to be used as a display and lamp table when not functioning in the opened out position. The upper surface provides interest with opposing grain styling to the design.
Riding upon cabriole legs with unifying X-stretcher the table has a robust base and is sturdy in use. The upper section turns through 45 degrees providing support for the envelope flaps as they fall into position. The table benefits from original brass hinges and green baize.
Overall this piece of antique furniture is in good order throughout and seats four in comfort.
