Gentleman's 18ct Gold Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Good quality crown wind, pin set full hunter pocket watch in a solid 18ct yellow gold case having a white & red enamelled monogram to the front cover in good working order. 50mm in diameter in a contemporary gilt tooled leather case.
Condition:
Dial - original white enamel bearing the number '12907' (matching the movement number) with black Roman numerals and sub. seconds dial. No hairlines or chips and very clean.
Case - solid 18ct gold full hunter with enamelled 'LR' monogram in white & red to the front cover. In excellent all round condition with one or two very minor dings and light surface scratching. The enamel is perfect. Fully hall marked for London, 1881 and made by 'A F' probably Alfred Fuller of London. The dust cover (also 18ct gold) bears the following inscription 'LEONARD REMFRY, from his Father & Mother on his 21st Birth-day, Sept 30th 1881'. All covers open and close as they should and the hinges are good.
Movement - frosted gilt, 3/4 plate, high grade, possibly by Rotherham's of Coventry bearing the serial number '12907' and 'Hamilton & Co. London & Calcutta'. Screw set jeweling, split bi-metallic compensated balance in excellent condition with no signs of alteration and in good working order.
Service History - Unknown.
LENARD REMFRY was born in Calcutta in 1860, the son of John Remfry who worked for Hamilton & Co. and was probably related to the Remfry partners of the company. Leonard was educated in England and went on to become an obstetrician working at St Georges Hospital in London. Unfortunately, he died in 1898 at the young age of 37.
