A GOOD, RARE, STERLING SILVER CASED, ROLEX POCKET WATCH,
A very nice, gentleman's sterling silver cased Pocket Watch by ROLEX.
This watch is a good example, in nice condition and in working order.
The sterling silver case is in very good overall condition, although it does have some minor indents to the rear. All covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker's mark "RWCLd" for the Rolex Watch Company Limited, the ".925" sterling silver mark, the Glasgow town import mark and the date letter "b" for 1924/25. Also stamped "Rolex, 7 World's Records, Gold Medal, Geneva, Suisse".
The white enamel dial is in good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o'clock.
The Swiss made lever movement is signed "Rolex" and "15 Jewels, Swiss Made.
The watch measures 49mm in diameter (across the case, excluding the winding crown). The weight is 77.7g.
