Gents 1940s/50s Omer wrist watch, Otto Maire SA
A gents 1940s/50s Omer wrist watch.
The name Omer was registered in 1945 by Manufacture d'Horlogerie Otto Maire SA of Longeau, Switzerland.
The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is working well.
The watch itself measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated with a stainless steel case back. There is some marking and pitting to the plate commensurate with the age of the watch.
The lens is in good order.
The signed dial has a few minor dots but overall has a very good look. The hands appear to be the originals. The outer minute track gives the watch plenty of character.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
