Gents 1950s Royce wrist watch.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, an ETA 1080, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Royce Watch Co, a brand name used by the Eska Watch Company.
The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist. The case is gold plated. There is some wear to the plate on the back of the watch. The screw-on case back is stainless steel, it states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture. There are a few surface scratches where a tool has slipped in the past.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish which has some marking and has darkened with age which makes it a little difficult to read the time, but it has plenty of character. Original hands and red centre seconds hand.
A new leather strap has been fitted
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
