Gents 1960s Longines Ultra Chron wrist watch.
The watch has an automatic movement, 17 jewel calibre 431, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 35mm wide excluding the winding crown and 34mm high excluding the lugs. The case is stainless steel with a 14ct gold capped bezel. The case is in lovely condition, as is the lens.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 10.30pm until the desired date is reached.
The watch comes on its original Longines bi-metal bracelet which currently fits an 18cm wrist (there is capacity on the clasp to make it about 1.5cm smaller if necessary). The clasp has the Longines logo. The clasp has light marking but not too serious, and there is a little rubbing to some of the gold coloured links but again, nothing too detrimental at all.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
