Gents 1990s chronograph wrist watch.
The watch has the look of a German pilot’s watch but it is in fact a much later watch. We first saw these watches coming onto the market in the 1980s, some were produced as limited numbers, and we would say this is probably a piece from the 1990s. So, while not a genuine 1940s pilot’s watch, it still has a good look about it.
The watch has a Poljot 3133 23-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. This movement came into production in the second half of the 1970s. The movement is covered by an inspection lens.
The watch measures 38mm diameter excluding the winding crown, pushers and lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in very nice condition, just a little paint loss to the red highlight on the bezel.
Both front and back lenses are in good condition.
The dial is signed Hanhart and it is in lovely condition.
The watch comes on a later leather strap.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
